If a hotel has five empty rooms tonight they can’t sell those empty rooms tomorrow. If a cruise ship leaves the dock with an empty cabin they can’t sell that cabin tomorrow.

Travel suppliers need to sell their unsold inventory. Even if they do so at a discount. A hotel would rather get $50 from a Hotels Etc.® member for a $100 room than no revenue at all. A cruise line would rather receive $500 for a $1,000 cruise than no revenue. It's that simple!

Your Hotels Etc.® membership can be used by your family, friends or relatives. It’s fully transferable.

Travel agents, whether on business or vacation, can get a discount of 50% on hotels/resorts. When you receive your Hotels Etc.® membership, you can travel the same way!

Once you receive your Hotels Etc.® Membership Card you simply present it to any one of the over 13,000 locations that honor it. Upon checking in, your discount is automatically deducted off your room rate for one night or your entire stay. Many of the hotels will even allow you to reserve several rooms at this rate, if needed.

Discount reservations are accepted on an "availability basis" until the hotel projects it will reach 75%-85% occupancy on the date(s) you've requested. Reservations are then limited to regular rates.

This means, during especially busy days of the year when most of the hotel rooms in a specific city or town are going to be full or near full, you will very likely have to pay full price like everyone else, unless you were able to make reservations far in advance. Most of the time, you shouldn't have any trouble getting the half price discount. Its recommended that you make reservations at least one day in advance of your arrival.

As a member of Hotels Etc.® you will receive 50% off the standard, non-discounted rack rate. Your 50% discount is not valid with any other discount or promotional rate.

Participating hotels are subject to change without notice. The hotels listed may not participate for the entire term of your membership. Hotels Etc.® will add new hotels to replace any hotels that have canceled.
